OnPlus Scanner AuthFail on Telnet

Hi

I am scanning my network usining OnPlus Scanner, it is able to login SSH based devices but generated Authfail on Cisco devices which are Telnet only.

Hi,

Can you provide us some more details to narrow down problem ?

1. What is the login sequence use for telnet enabled devices ?

2. Is the user mode and enable mode password are different ?

Please send the scanner log(OnPlusScanner.log) which will be available under user home directory.

1. When you telnet switch or router promp you for credential, which then send to TACAS sever. I am able to login directly to these devices but OnPlus scanner is generating Auth Fail error

2. Enable password is different then user password.

I am not using OnPlus device, I am using Onplus Scanner Portal.

Hi,

OnPlus Scanner expects the user mode and enable mode are same. If both the passwords are different then provide the passwords in the "Telnet/HTTP/HTTPS/SSH Crendential" popup like

Username 1 -->

Password 1 -->

Username 2 -->

Password 2 -->

Please let me know this is how you gave credential.
