OpenDNS updater not working

wst2

Whenever my IP changes I log in to support.opendns.com and I see a new network, but the updater doesn't seem to point to that new IP.
I've never been able to have it successfully update

I see the questions are years old. Does the updater still work? Mine is v2.2.1
Below is the last few lines of my ipupdateslog.txt with my IP XX'ed out. I just updated my network manually.

I also unchecked the Send Dns-O-Matic updates box. Maybe having it checked was the problem?

Hello,

Please create a support request and answer these troubleshooting steps:

* When you launch the Updater client is it signing into your account and selecting a network to update?

* Do you see any error notifications coming from the updater client? If so, what do they say? You can send us a screenshot of the error in a reply email attachment if you'd like.

* Have you tried configuring OpenDNS locally and restarting your computer? The updater may not detect you're using OpenDNS as a DNS resolver on your connection and send network IP updates unless you follow the instructions listed in this guide: < https://support.opendns.com/forums/21618384-Computer-Configuration>

* Finally, if you have a firewall or anti-virus program enabled then please be sure to create an exception for the dynamic IP updater client so its updates may reach our servers properly.
