Paid or free

Hi, I want to secure my family from harmful content online. I'm not a technical or expert person and had to google what a DNS was...do I need a free service or a paid for service? I was advised that a pay for service would be better but the OpenDNS options are both free. I don't know which one to choose. Any advice is appreciated!

If ur new to this, I’d start with OpenDNS’s free version. It blocks harmful content and is easy to set up. The paid options offer more control, but the free one works well for basic protection. Try it first, and if you ever need stricter filters later, you can upgrade. Also use youtube for help, u have a lot of videos out there....
