10Gbit Fiber Link over 80 KM (50 Miles) what equipment SFP+ beyond 10GbitZR

Without using a repeater what equipment would one use to establish a 10 Gbit link on distances longer than a 10GbitER (25 mile/40 Kilometer) or 10GBitZR (50 Mile/80 Kilometer) optic would allow?  Is there a cost effective solution to do this or would this involve OC-192, DWDM, or other equipment?

I'm thinking potentially up to 75 miles (or even 100 miles).  Also looking at areas where we have lots of splices in the 30-40 mile range that might have too much loss for ER or ZR optics.  I'm thinking DWDM gear would push longer distances but gets quite expensive and harder to setup and maintain and we really don't need to save strands just be able to run long distances.
