Hi all,
We have 6 mm fibre running from data center to 10th floor.
Need to know what does 6 mm strand fibre mean?
does it mean 3 pairs?

Six strands of multimode (MM) fiber would be the likely explanation. Multimode fiber typically supports propagation for Gigabit Ethernet over link distances up to 2 Km.
Six stands = 3 pairs.
