May I know where is the Rx port? Left or right?

May I know what is the command to turn off / shut down the Rx port as I need to switch the module to add an attenuator which can help help save the laser power?

I have never used Cisco 7606 Router, so I am not sure about it. One thing which might help you is to configure UDLD on fiber port and see log if some syslog messages appears regarding UDLD. Just remember that the fiber light should go into the sfp port where there is no light.

Or you should use the Cisco Technical Support Android App.
