Good Books for understanding Optical Technology.

I'm interested in Optical Technology using CISCO

solutions.but I don't have experience to operate

WDM,DWDM,etc.

Please tell me good books for understanding basic

knowledge it.If possible,this book is published by

CISCO or written by CISCO Network Engineer...

I'd suggest you need to read “Optical Networking Crash Course” by Steven Shepard. I don’t think Cisco Press has released anything yet.

I asked about a Cisco Press book when I was at Networkers and they said there are two coming out shortly. Those should be worth waiting for as well.
