Please Help!!

All,

I'm looking to hook up a WS-2960-24TC-L running IOS 12.2.(rev 44) to a Catalyst 4507 on a WS-4448-GB-SFP card. I'm using two GLC -LH-SM SFP's to connect across 62.5 m Multimode Fiber. The distance is around 1200 feet, so I'm using mode conditioning patch cables to span this distance. I've had the fiber tested, everything checks out, I've switched out the SFP's to verify that they are working correctly. I've tried different ports on the 4507 as well. Any ideas on where my problem might lie? Any help at all is appreciated, I need this up very soon.

Is the Cat4507 software at 12.2(20)EW or higher?

Can you verify the Mode  Conditioning Patchcords (MCP) are for 62.5 micron fiber and that  the singlemode fiber cord is attached to the transmit port on each end? 

Verify that the transmit fiber on one end gets connected to the receive  end at the other end.

Are the fiber  connectors and ports clean?

When you said the fiber was tested, what was tested... any results for loss (dB) on each fiber?

What are the transceiver LEDs showing?

What does a Show Interface command show for each transceiver on each end?

Do you have an Optical Power Meter?
