SFP-10G-SR unknown on C2960XR-48FPS-L

I check and got advise with a Cisco partner, they had suggested to use SFP-10G-SR for my C2960XR-48FPS.

Had encountered the switch is not detecting the SFP module.

The model is always "Unknown".

Want to know if the SFP is compatible wit hmy switch though the partner may have made a mistake.

2960XR-48FPS doesn't support SFP+.
The model number doesn't have a "D".

Learned about the incompatibility given my newbie for SFP module.

Going need source a new switch to support this SFP module.

Hi,

C2960XR-48FPS-L support 1G SFP only you can use GLC-SX-MMD for multimode and GLC-LH-SMD for singlemode,

If you wish to use SFP-10G-SR you need to change the switch to C2960XR-48FPD-L
