I have this output ; the SFP is ZX  at one side and LH on the other side ; are this value correct or acceptable

Re: show interface gi0/1/0 tranceiver : interprétation de valeurs

Hello Abdel,

the output shows a received power of -12.5 dBm that is acceptable as it is not too high and not too low (High warning is -3 dBm and low warning is -23 dBm).

The only concern is that you are using two different types of optic SFP with ZX that is more powerful and that potentially might send too much power to other side.

You need to check this on both sides. Only if acceptable in both sides you should go on. Otherwise you should use the same type of optics on both sides.

Edit:

I see that the output is related to the ZX SFP side. Check the other side because it is likely that is receving too much optical power. If this happens the other side is not able to discriminate 0 and 1 digits. (it is made blind or saturated)

Hope to help

Giuseppe
