Dear all,

I am little curious about the difference between XFP and SFP+ modules so I would like to inform the comment about this below, I appreciate if you can let me know more information about this topic.

・XFP
 -IEEE std-802.3ae (10Gbps)
 -SONET/SDH(OC-192)(Less than 10Gbps)
 -Supports 10G Fibre Channel(compliant)
 -Release July 19, 2002

・SFP+
 -IEEE std-802.3ae (10Gbps)
 -Supports up to 16Gbps
 -Supports 8G Fibre Channel
 -Release May 9, 2006

・XFP vs SFP+
-The size of XFP is larger than SFP+
-XFP port only accept XFP tranceiver.
-SFP+ has DAC(Direct Attach Cable) for two SFP+ but XFP has no cable version.
-SFP+ port can accept SFP tranceiver
