I am migrating from an ASR9001 to ASR9901. Have a 3rd party 40G-ER optic that works in 9001 but not 9901. Used "transceiver permit pid all" command on both. The 9901 complains about the type (not the pid). There is a conmand "transceiver permit type all" but that will not commit to config - returns all !!% 'sysdb' detected the 'warning' condition 'A verifier or EDM callback function returned: 'not found'' ! Any ideas? Tried TAC, not very helpful as 3rd party optic.
