What CISCO device will accept an OC-3 (non-ATM) interface and establish an Ethernet connection with a E100T-12 card in a CISCO ONS 15454?

Is the wavelength(1310, 1550) that is listed in the OSM interfaces specs transmit or receive? I would think it is transmit. If it is, then what are the receive values?Thanks

I have an application which will only tolerate a BER less than 10 -9. When I have a circuit which consists of multiple(say 3) SONET paths(in series) with BER specs of 10 -12. Do I add these together to get the End-to-End BER???
