I have a Cisco C-9300-24-E WITH a c-9300NM2Q Network interface card which is 40G, will this module be backwards compatible with any lower module, such as the 1G,10G or 25G network card. Will they work together?

I cannot speak for 25 Gbps but yes on 1- and 10 Gbps optics. 

DISCLAIMER:  Highly dependent on firmware version.  We have used 1- and 10 Gbps if the switch is on 17.3.4 (and later).
