Cisco NCS2006-SA: TX-Client Port 10x10G LC is flapping signal (-40db, -27db, -15db,...) when plugging Y cable Protection

Hi Guys,

I have 2 sites with multishelf chassis NCS2006-SA per site. They use ver 11.0 and Services are protected by Y cable.

I created Y cable protection group and circuit for FC8G to test.

The problem is:

- In both of sites, TX-Client port of Active 10x10G card changes TX signal each 1-2s. It's -40db, -27db, -15db. .... flapping.

- So strange, when I remove cable of FC8G to Y cable. And check signal, I see TX- client port of active 10x10G card have good signal -3db and no flap.

Any idea for this case? Thank so much!

How far away are both sites located?

Hi Kapydan,

 It is ~ 60km.

I just tested with 10GE and it's ok.

In my system, i have edfa-17 and dcu950 (Designed by ctp with 60km and 30db loss)

Please find the attached video about flapping signal.

Thanks.
