Cisco ONS 15454 Error

Was wondering if anybody out there would be able to help me out with an error that we are getting on our Cisco 15454 platform. We are trying to manually build a circuit with protection but everytime we do it errors out with the error "EID-2330 An error occurred during circuit verification, The selected spans are invalid! Invalid span comination at Node SNBR1061". The error EID-2330, what does it mean and what does a person normally do to resolve the issue?

I don't know what EID-2330 means for the error message. But I can tell you if you're using the connection manager to build an end to end cross connect and allowing the system to autoroute the SONET or OCHNC, whatever you're trying to build, if you don't have the DCC (green lines) between your nodes then the route will not find. Conversely, if you're trying to build a OCHNC for a DWDM, if you select the wrong degree for the DWDM it will also fail to calculate the route.

If your network does not have DCC and you're building cross connect, then you'd have to build TL1-like cross connect and manually build each hop...

That's about all I can offer since the details are pretty vague on what you're trying to build.
