Cisco SFP-10G-SR modules with X710-DA2

Hello,

I am trying to use a Cisco SFP-10G-SR module with an Intel X710-DA2 NIC.

I have been unable to get the card configured properly to work with the module.

Intel has stated that  they recommend Intel SFP+ modules be used with this NIC.

Does anyone know how to get the X710-DA2 to recognize the Cisco SFP-10G-SR module?

Thanks,

Roger

Vendors protect theirs products from third-party products like SFP modules. In SFP stored special vendor secure code which is read by NIC and compared with own matrix of supported vendors of SFP. Usually you can't use third party SFP in equipment.
