how do you determine what transceiver module (multimode or singlemode) is being used in a switch aside from pulling it out and seeing it the label on it?
is there a command for that in the CLI? existing switch is cisco 2950...
is it possible to determine if multimode or singlemode is being used just from the cables alone? i see some black-red and white-yellow fiber cable pairs. which one's which?
