Does glc-sx-mm works on a ASR-1002X router?

Does anyone has the GLC-SX-MM transceiver works on a ASR-1002x Gigabit fiber SFP port?

I searched Cisco web site and it says ASR1002x supports GLC-SX-MMD only. Just like to see if it actually would work on GLC-SX-MM as well.

Yes. 

GLC-SX-MM is already End-of-Sale.  The replacement is GLC-SX-MMD (with DOM support).  

Now here's the rub:  Not all GLC-SX-MM are supported.  I believe there are certain cases when it is caused by the "hardware version" mismatch.  Nothing else you can do, if this happens to you, but to RMA the SFP.
