I have a customer that is wanting ot install several Cisco IE2000 8TC-G switches. They are planning to use fiber optic SFP
modules to connect up to their network. They have ordered GLC-SX-MM-RGD
modules for use in these switches. Could someone please confirm if these
SFP modules will work with this switch?
These SFP modules are rated at 1Gbps and my understanding is that these
switches are 100Mbps. I believe there might be a compatibility issue
using these SFPs with these switches. I am just wanting to catch this
beforehand if it could be an issue.
