Hello!

This one is regarding an M6 shelf.

In the network connectivity diagram attached, the SMR2-C-A does not have a connection with a TNC Card to its OSC-TX and OSC-RX, will it work? How can I enable the LINE-TX port of the SMR2-C-A so that it will have a connection with the other node?

Alex,

You should be able to do this but only with a DCN OCHNC circuit

You have to have LAN connected nodes & build a network level PPC. 

Once the PPC is built you should be able to  build a DNC OCHNC (on each side)

then you can combine them.  DCN OCHNC is basically telling the system there's

no OSC but you have LAN connectivity to each node and to ignore Optical safety

This can get pretty complicated and is hard to explain via email.  I suggest you open

a TAC case and work with someone directly.
