ONS CPU Utilization

Our customer needs to know the CPU utilization of their ONS15154 M12. They need to retrieve period CPU utilization darta..

Anyone have done this? Greatly appreciate your answers...

Hi,

Firstly I would like to note that there are no any need to monitor it because there are no any cases regarding high CPU utilization. If you will check Troubleshooting guide you will see that there are no any alarm about Hight CPU.

Secondly there are no any SNMP traps available to do that.

Thirdly there are only one way to check it with use of vxworks commands by telnet session. BUT use of special VxWorks commands supported and use only by TAC and BU teams. If you will use it they can deny your requests for help because of violation of product use. TAC can use this command:

vclDumpHistory

to check what did you tried to perform in ONS\NCS node.

BUT if you steal want to do that you have use this command:

spy

One tick in ONS\NCS:

Be very carefully when use VxWorks commands!!!
