Our Cisco 2960X switches display warning, the optical signal received by transceiver is too high. Is there anyone can explain and advise how to resolve the issue?

shut/no shut the ports first.

Next, bounce the switch.

Your input to that SFP is to hot. You need an attenuator. What type of SFP is it?
