Is it possible to put an access point next to a microwave oven, will there be any interruptions ?

Hi there,

Yes, when you are cooking your bacon (or anything else in the oven!) you will get interference as both devices operate within the same frequency 2.4Ghz band.

If you have a modern AP which uses the 5Ghz band then you will not experience any interference. More bacon!
