16x9 Live Event

Has anyone done a Live Event in wide screen format?

We just finished upgrading to DMM 5.2.2 and I'd like to fill out the entire video window on the Show & Share page instead of having black bars on either side of the 300x400 image. We're using a DME-1000 but also have access to a DME-2000.

I cannot find any documentation that tells me how to configure the encoder or DMM to display a 16x9 NTSC video stream.

Through trial and error here's what I've learned:

The video format settings need to be changed in the encoder and SnS from 400x300 to 544x306. (The width must be a multiple of 16 and height a multiple of 2)

On the SnS Video Format page - When you select CUSTOM,  the labels for the height and width settings are wrong. (height = width and null = height)
