2651XM with AIM-VOICE-30

I have router 2651XM with AIM-VOICE-30 card. Can I use this router for transcoding? I have CCM version 3.3.3.

If I add NM-HDV-FARM card in this router, do I need to uninstall AIM-VOICE card, or not. Can this router work with this too card together , and work as gateway and as transcoding resources.

Hi,

A 2651XM with and AIM voice will not work as a transcoder. The AIM doesn't support Hardware CFB or Transcode. You can quite happily add an NM-HDV into this alongside the AIM, and use the HDV as Transcoding and Conference resources, and use the AIM as general PSTN DSP's for and E1/T1
