I have this gut feeling this will not be a supported design. But can we somehow configure the 7609 for H323? if so how? OR... use a WS-X6608 blade and slot it into the chassis and register it with CM as an MGCP gateway?
I am currently using the 3845 ISR for H323 and all is working fine, but just wondering if the 7609 could also be an option for our IP Telephony environment.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Just to add i was unable to find any documentation on CCO regarding this setup. So i really would like some assistance on this query.

A 7609 is basically just a 6509 correct? If so, you could probably use a WS-SVC-CMM module. It's like a 6608 but compatible with Native IOS.

Ah yes Thanks CCampbell! The CMM module would be perfect then. I just had a look on CCO and it did mention the WS-SVC-CMM module being compatible with 7600 series routers, which is good news.
I would really like to double check 7609 should'nt be a problem with the CMM module before i purchase it though?
Could the WS-SVC-CMM module support the following features:
H323, T.38, Transcoding, Conferencing (it mentions on CCO it only supports MGCP, fax relay, fax passthroug but not T.38)?
Also Will i need a separate CMM Module for Xcoding, CFB, E1/T1 PRI?
Cheers!
