Hi Mary,

We are a Plantronics shop here at our Campus, so I can only gine you feedback on them. We have many of the 2 models listed below working perfectly with 7941's and 7961's and other 7940's and 7960's.

Corded - Plantronics H171 or H17N (N = noise cancelling) ** nice lightweight Headset with multiple user wear options.

Make sure that you also order the following part for any Plantronics corded models;

Part# Amp 26716-01

Cordless - Plantronics CS50 or CS55 - Great coverage (up to 200-300 feet) multiple channels (CS50 - 900mhz CS55 - 1.9khz) 8 hour battery life.

Hope this helps! Wow, maybe I should be a Plantronics saleperson :)

Thanks, Rob. I will order the H171N. You should get a commission from Plantronics.

Hi Rob,

We have a new plantronics H261N. Whenever we use it to the 7941g phone, it have a buzzing sound on the other side. But when we use it to other phones (nortel phones), it works perfectly. Is it compatibility issue?

thanks,

robert

Hi Robert,

We haven't used the H261N so I can't give you an exact answer. I did search the Plantronics site to make sure that the H261N and the 7941G are compatable (and they are :) Are you using it with the Part# Amp 26716-01 cord? This cord has different pinouts than previous models. I have included a link to Plantronics Tech Support that has worldwide contact numbers. I would give them a call, and talk to your supplier. Anytime I have had a problem they have been very good and do back up their product quite well. If there is an issue I'm sure that you could trade in this model for another.
