Hello ,
I was requested by my customer to limit the volume level of the 7960/7940 speaker phone
is it possible ?
(I'm using CM 3.3.3)

If you are asking about how to reduce the volume from the phone itself , then you have a volume control button in the phone itself which allows adjustment of volume for ringing tones, speaker and headset. The following is the procedure for adjusting the Volume.
1. User presses the Headset or Speaker button or lifts thehandset.
2. User changes the volume by pressing the Volume button.
3. User presses the Save soft key to save volume levels.
