7970 possible expansion module?

Has anyone heard if there's going to be an expansion module released that will work with the color IP phones (the 7970's)? If so, any idea when?

Hi,

So far Cisco didn't put any official release plan 7970 expansion modules. I have asked the same question to cisco few weeks back, but one of senior official said that cisco may come up with a piece of software which will allow us to use the exisitng expansion modules on 7970 color phones.

Finally he said 'i am not sure, i will talk to BU (businees unit)'.

Open a TAC case and ask the engineer to post your question to the Internal CCM Alias that the CCM Business Unit's Technical Marketing Engineers and Product Managers monitor. You should get a more official answer either way from them.
