I am getting ready to deploy 800 or so 9841 phones. On the phone config, the buttons for Disable Speakerphone, Disable Speakerphone/headset and Disable Handset are missing.
My question is, how do I add that into CM to make them like all the other phones in the system. Google says to go to Webex Control Hub to add the settings. We do not use that feature. Any help would be appreciated.

Install the most recent CUCM device pack to update the database, reboot the cluster, and then re-check Product Specific Configuration Layout section of the phone config to see if the options have been added. If not you can submit a feature request or work with your Cisco account team.

I’ve run into the same thing on the 88xx/98xx series. Those Disable Speaker/Handset options don’t always show up unless you’re on the latest CUCM device pack. After updating and rebooting we were able to see them under the product specific configuration layout. If they’re still missing even after updating, then it’s not exposed yet for that model and you’d need to request it through TAC/feature request. In that case, a quick workaround is just using a custom softkey or restricting via user profile
