we currently have our IP phones/Call Manager dial thru an H323 gateway to our PBX system which connects to the PSTN. We have set up an access code to make international calls from the PBX side. We have a route pattern set up in Call Manager to route the code ##21200. I am having a hard time finding info of how the dial peer or destination pattern for the code should be set up on the router. Any ideas?

Part of the problem could be that # is a terminating character by default for the gateway. You can change this with the dial-peer terminator command, the valid values are '0'-'9', 'A'-'D', '*', or '#'

You might also consider this approach. Program a DISA number on the PBX that uses a non-DID number (say ext. 6-1000) that requires an authorization code for access. The non-DID number will prevent people off your site from accessing long distance (cutting down on toll fraud). Now in Call Manager build a route pattern with the same feature activation code (for auth codes) that the PBX users use (say *89). In the route pattern make the Called Party Transform Mask = 6-1000. Hope that helps.
