hi all,
i got a problem when implement VoIP with AS5300 connected with E1-R2, here's the diagram:
CALL IN ----E1R2 ---AS5300 --- AS5300---E1R2----CALL OUT
problem happened with the call out, it's ok for local call but can't do an long distance call.
When AS5300 send All Digits, the R2 always request for A2 (repeat from beginning), AS5300 only repeat 1 digit from behind !
I already insert a dummy ANI for long distance call.
The ABCD is (RX)1 0 0 1 (TX)1 0 0 1
Here's the simple E1 conf:
controller E1 1
framing NO-CRC4
clock source line secondary 1
ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled ani
cas-custom 1
country indonesia
category 2
answer-signal group-b 1
dnis-complete
Anybody have an experience with this problem ?
thx

the question is why is the PBX/PSTN sending A2 for LD calls. Does it do this for the other calls? Make sur the vcware matches the IOS that you are running:

Hi,
I have a similar problem. My E1 does not accept calls (Modem dial out) when ANI is blank. Could you tell me how I can insert an ANI for outgoing modem calls.
I'm using AS5350XM with NP-60 DFC cards
Thanks and Best Rgds
