Manish, 

I downloaded the software but it was in cop.sgn format, please advise on how do i load it on CME 10.5 or extract the load and .bin , as we can not load firmware .cop.sgn format on CME .

Procedure to install:
First: The TFTP servers must be stopped (to avoid devices from starting automatic firmware upgrade)
Second: Install the file.
 Step 1 Using your web browser,log in to the Cisco Unified Communications Operating System Administration web page.
 Step 2 From the Software Upgrades menu, select Install/Upgrade.
 Step 3 Fill in the appropriate values in the Software Location section and click Next.
 Step 4 In the A vailable Software drop-down box, select the device package file and click Next.
 Step 5 Verify that the MD5 has the correct value. Click Next.
 Step 6 In the Warning box, verify that you selected the correct firmware and click Install.
 Step 7 Check that you received a Success message. If you are rebooting the cluster, skip to Step 9. Note
 Step 8 Start the TFTP server.
Third: reboot cluster

Hello Christian,

I was able to resolve this issue. Note if your CME version is 10.5 it does not support ATA 190 but there is a workaround. First you have upgrade the IOS of your CME router to version 15.5T , after this upgrade you can now add ATA 190 using the ATA-187 firmware load, it will register and work perfectly.

I did this and it work perfectly.

My CME is running "c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M" IOS version...

So, Do I need to change the IOS to a "T" version ?

(I can see "c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-2.T1" on the IOS Download page)
