Is it possible to have an IP phone sharing the same extension as an analog phone on an FXS port.
For instance in a residential installation, I want to put in IP phones and also want to have a mix of cordless phones. With the battery life on the 7920 I'd rather use conventional analog cordless phones that reside on an FXS port. I want them to have the same extension as the wired IP phones. Any thoughts?

Yes it is possible. Just configure the same number and it will appear as shared line.

ATA must be skinny - should be no problem (shared line)

I am running CME 3.3 / 12.3(14)T2
I'm not using an ATA module, I'm using a 4 port FXS port for the analog phones. Assigning the DN to both the ephone and the FXS port doesn't work. I have a dial-peer for the DN pointing to the FXS port. Whe I dial it, only the FXS port rings.
