Is it possible to use the Avaya Clan Card in a G3 as a H.323 Gateway for Call manager?

Thanks,
Do you know of the limitation of this type of implementations? For example the following:
Called Number
Calling Name
Diversion Reason
MWI1 On/Off
Both-Ways Origination

You'll get name and number display both ways and not much more. Seems like any incompatibilities were ironed out starting with Avaya version 10 software. If you have mixed codecs be careful - calls across the link will need to be able to match.

Is this the same on a Definity with a Prowler card? Is there a similar application note on how to set this up?

To the poster about the prowler board.. The AVAYA Multivantage (Definity) has to have a Control Lan (CLAN) and a MediaProcessor (Medpro, Prowler) board in it to do IP trunking or IP station. The CLAN does the control and call setup, whereas the Medpro board just does the VoIP Conversion to TDM, X-Coding, etc..
It is possible to do IP trunking between the Cisco and G3, but you do lose some important things such as PROGress indication calling to the Cisco phones. It appears that Cisco does things backwards on this. In normal telephony the remote end switch provides the ringback, whereas with CallManager the near end provides the ringback..
