AXL enforces a mandatory value, which is not required when configuring via the Normal Admin Web Pages
When creating a Universal Device Template, and updating the Line on the template, AXL enforces a minimum occurence of 1 for the dirn of the line, (element XUniversalDeviceTemplate/lines/line). This causes the number entered to overwrite the number applied from the Universal Line template when a user provisions a device. Leaving the value blank, or trying to use space instead of a dirN returns a SOAP error.
However if the Universal Device Template is created through the web GUI there is no mandatory Directory Number, allowing the line settings to be applied to the line instance of the provisioned device.
Is there a way over overriding this requirement for the Mandatory dirN, or could this be treated as a bug and fixed?
