Has anyone had any trouble with the provided backup utility not cancelling out. I am on CCM 3.1.2c, and when I bring up the backup viewer it says cancelling, please wait. and never ends so that I can schedule a new backup. Any help would be appreciated...

I have 2 customers with this problem. I have opened a Tac case as I see a Bug on CCO but no detail relating to fix/workaround. One customer is on 3.0(10) The other is 3.1(3a)
If anyone else has fixed this please let me know

I talked with TAC and they walked me through a registry fix(HACK). Hkey_LM-->Software-->Cisco systems-->Backup-->Config--->paused
Change this key from a 3 to a 0.
I don't guarantee that this will fix it for you, or take responsibility for any other problems resulting from this change, but it did the trick for me.
Hope this helps-
