Hi
How do I transfer an incoming answered call directly to a user voice mail box, without ringing the user extension?
Is this possible?
Thanks

This link provides a couple of options you can look at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a008015b963.shtml
Or, you can try this:
- Transfer the call to the VM Pilot Point
- When you hear the greeting key in the following sequence: #
- hang up
I am not in front of a lab phone at the moment, but I believe this procedure will place the transferred call to the subscriber's greeting.
HTH,
Kevin

Here is another easy way of doing it. It needs some configuration in Callmanager, but is easy for the users to use. You can dial something simple like, *2001 to transfer to VM of extension 2001.

Thank you, this works great. Something my users have been asking for!
