Called party cannot hear IPT callers

We've had some problems today with one of our IPT sites. Callers are using 7912G phones and they have had several problems dialling out. The main problem was that at times the callers could hear the connected party but they could not hear the callers.

Has anyone experienced this?

We have QoS set up across the network and a sizeable link. I've checked the hardware for any error logging but can see none.

Any ideas?

If you do a search for "one way audio" it gives you a list of docs to troubleshoot. Basically, one way audio is due to:

1. routing issue

2. Phone Firmware

3. Or you just need to tweak out the config somewhere

If it is only 7912 phones and all other phones work, I'd try upgrading the 7912 FW to the latest. On the phone config page, you can test one phone by specifying the FW while all other 7912 retains the old FW.
