CallManager 4.1.2 issue

After upgrade from Callmanager 3.3.5 to 4.1.2 sr1 all phones that have Lines Mapped on 7914 side cars attached to 7960 phones.

Problem answering calls, you have to press the line button or the answer softkey in order to pickup the incoming call.

If I map that same line to the 7960 itself it answers fine, by just lifting the handset.

Just as a test, what happens when you map the line to a 7960 without the 7914 and the line is not a primary line? This sounds like a primary line configuration.

Yes , if its mapped to the 7960 as a Secondary line it works fine, only have problems with lines on the 7914.

What do you have the line settings to for shared lines?

I installed on the other day and there was a difference depending on the shared line ring settings, disable, flash, beep, ring etc. I think you have this set to disable. If you set this to flash that should fix the fault.

Turns out this was a known bug with the firmware, 7.1 I think.

Anyway we have the latest firmware now, and the problem was resolved.
