I have an NM-HDV-Farm used for 24 channels of transcoding. I threw in a 2MFT-T1 VWIC into the WIC slot on the module and got one port up as a data T1. In trying to bring up the 2nd port, I get an Insufficient resources error as follows:
RtrMain(config-controller)# channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24 speed 64
Channel setup failed!!! s:t:c 2:1:0
HDV slot 2 DRAM size 524280 free 67013 need 124992
%Insufficient resources to create channel group
Any way to reallocate the mem? Or am I just asking too much of this NM? I did a MEM IOMEM 20 and reloaded and that didn't change anything.

This could either mean a lack of memory to create channel group or in most high end routers, there was a limitations with the card itself.

On a VWIC you can use only one port for data, and not both at the same time. You can still run one port with a PRI circuit for voice and the other port for data. Only limitation is that you cant use both ports for data at the same time.
