Can phone on FXS port dial out during SRST w/MGCP Fallback?

I've seen a few threads about this, but none have a resolution posted. My 2600 is set for MGCP during normal operation, but uses the h.323 commands during SRST with MGCP fallback. During SRST, I can dial out the FXO port, I can also dial from an IP phone to the analog phone on the FXS port, but the analog phone cannot dial out (it gets a fast busy tone). Is there a solution for this?

What is the version that you are using? The version of IOS that supporst MGCP fallback to h.323 is 12.2(2)xn

I did get the answer passed on to me, it's the old famous "undocumented feature" thing. Here's what's needed in the config (global mode):

call application alternate DEFAULT
