can the MFT in a Cat 4224 connect to an isdn primary rate from a PTT?

Yes, but it would have to be a fractional PRI, since the current DSP allocation method always ties DSP channels up to run the 8 FXS ports, even if you remove the card.

So how many channels can you use, is it upto a maximum of 16?

I am told 16 for the PRI and 8 for the built in FXS, total 24.

Do you know when the current DSP allocation config will change to support a full PRI to use all 23 voice channels of a PRI instead of a maximum of 16?
