CCM 4.0.1 and SQL

Does anyone know the default CCMCDR user account password? This account gets created in a 4.0.1 upgrade or fresh install. I'd hate to have to change it on all the dependent services, on all the CCM machines in the cluster.

Also ... anyone having any trouble setting the SQLServer security settings to 'SQL Server and Windows' on a CCM 4.0.1 publisher? I was able to do it on my lab Pub, and on a client's Pub, but not on the one I'm working on today.

Puzzling. When I change the setting and click 'OK' nothing happens. Just on this server though ...

If you are referring to the CiscoCCMCDR password, the default passwords can be found on this page:

I have not had any problems enabling sql server security on a 4.0 publisher, not sure what might be causing that...

In CCM 4.x there is no more CiscoCCMCDR account. There is a *machine* account named CCMCDR. No idea what the password is, yet. And the 'SQL Server' login types are disabled by default.

Anyone who's looked at this in CCM 4.x yet?

Actually, there still is a CiscoCCMCdr account, though it is not accessible until you enable sql server authentication.

Sorry about the confusion, I thought you were talking about the old sql server authentication account and not the ccmcdr windows account.

Is the password for that account not generated automatically for this account (and other accounts used by CallManager processes)?

You can change the password with the password changer utility (which synchronizes the passwords across the cluster), though I wasn't aware that the CCMCDR account was meant for end-users...

Strange, I've done 4 CCM 4.0.1 installations and I've had to create the CiscoCCMCDR account on all of them. Perhaps I've been doing something wrong.

You're right about the CCMCDR machine account being for CallManager process (CDR Insert service, etc) use. We may not want to use that one. And it may use the secure passphrase to generate an encrypted password, I'm not sure.

Could you verify that the next time you do a vanilla CCM 4.0.1 install, the CiscoCCMCDR SQL Server login is created?

Ah, I may be thinking of a beta 4 install, which may be different from a production 4.01. Sounds like CiscoCCMCDR may indeed be gone now. Sorry for the misinformation! I'll definitely check on the next install... which I may do sooner rather than later as I'm curious now!
