CCM 4 MGCP E&M T1 won't register

Hi All-

I have a 3845 gateway andI am trying to turn up an E&M / CAS T1. There are currently 6 other PRI T1s on this gateway that are fully functional, so I have good confidence in my MGCP setup. I have 24 ports defined in CCM and the gateway shows 24 voice ports DORM IDLE ILDE.

When I try to reset the T1 via CCM, all T1s in that gateway are reset (ouch!) This doesn't happen with my PRI T1s - are CAS different this way?

Any input, advice or assistance would be appreciated.

Check whether the slot is configured properly in CCM

Turns out that the first time a port is defined, you need to restart MGCP by doing a "No MGCP", "MGCP". Unless you do this, it seems that all ports on the gateway are reset when you attempt to reste the non-registered port.
