I heard that next major release of CCM is going to run on Unix...is this true?
How about the exisitng cusotmers in that case? :)

I heard rumours a long time back it was going to be a dual Windows and Linux release...
However I've not heard much about a Windows version since... and I've seen the linux one.

I heard about that too. It will be Windows and Linux verison co-exist.

Has Version 5 been released? Also is there any documentation on version 5 that will run on Linux?
I would definately be interested in seeing the SIP capabilities for version 5.0

CCM 5.0 will be Linux only
CCM 5.x / 6.0 will be Windows and Linux
The Linux version will be an Appliance which means you won't get access to the OS, just to the web interfaces.
Since it is an appliance, you have to use the Linux which Cisco provides (redhat) on Cisco provided servers (MCS).
No 3rd party stuff whatsoever on the servers...
