You can develop a standard naming convention for your ERLs. There's no specific best practice for naming conventions. Here's what I use and it's generic enough to add a function if needed.
<*Site*>_<*Floor*><*Area*>-<*function*>_ERL
Ex. You have a site named Virginia and your ERL covers the West side of the 1st floor. Your ERL could look like this.
VA_FL1W_ERL
Note* Your <*Area*> can be a specific location (North, South, East, West) of a floor, or it can be the actual location of the phone (e.g. office, cubicle)
