Hi, Everyone!

Cisco 2621XM - IOS Version 12.4(25d)  Login failed [user: ] - Does not show "user" when connecting through telnet and trying with wrong "user and password" - Valid user works perfectly.

When a failed login attempt is tried through telnet connection the field user does not show the user that was typed and I need this info in other to do some troubleshooting on my network. 

Log messages inside the router:

if you log into the device itself and check the log it should tell you what user iD last attempted

Ey, Denis! That's exactly the problem. Even in the router itself, we are not getting the users registered for a failed login attempt.
