I have a Cisco 522 USB-C Headset connected to an iMac Pro running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. It is the only USB-C machine I have to test it on.
Even with the volume turned all the way up, the audio on the headset is quiet and muffled, no matter the app I am using it in (GoToMeeting, Camtasia, etc.). A comparable Plantronics USB (non USB-C) headset is getting clear audio.
What do I need to do to resolve this?
